To comply with the Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment
Regulations 1998 (LOLER) all tail lifts that carry passengers must
have, by law, at least two Statutory Thorough Examinations (STE)
every year.
These examinations must be carried out by competent persons and
any defects noted are to be corrected as recommended in the
examination report. Failure to comply could ultimately lead to
imprisonment.
Double 4 Ltd. engineers have been trained and
are certified to carry out STE's that fully comply with the LOLER
1998 Regulations. Alternatively Double 4 Ltd. are available for further information/consultation to
ensure that the correct actions are taken.
